About The 3 Day Diet
The 3 day diet plan “promises” a great weight loss of 10 lb for 3 days and other health benefits such as lower cholesterol – which can simply occur by severe calorie limitation and putting your body into starvation mode.
While some weight loss is possible on the 3 day diet, as it is a very low calorie diet, most of that weight is likely due to losing water weight – not fat. There is no diet book, nor any medical research to support the health benefits claimed and the science behind the metabolic reaction that can cause fast weight loss.
The 3 Day Diet Menu
The 3 day diet menu should never be used for more than 3 days. The food plan must be followed precisely. Do not over or undereat. Portions must be eaten exactly as specified. Drink 4 cups of water or noncaloric drinks daily.

About The 17 Day Diet
Dr Mike, as he is known, wrote the book, The 17 Day Diet. In addition, there is a workbook, cookbook and DVD. 17 really is his magic number.
The diet contains 4×17 day cycles, so once you have finished the first, you go straight on to the second and so on. You could call the last cycle an on-going forever phase. You will have to give up unhealthy fattening processed food and replace it with fresh vegetables, lean meat and fruit, well, until the last cycle. So what are these cycles: accelerate, activate, achieve and arrive. You will take each 17 day chunk at a time.

1 cup green tea;
Snack:
1 serving Berry Frozen Yoghurt (recipe in the book);
Dinner:
1 serving Roast Prawn and Broccoli (recipe in the book);
1 cup green tea.
